Language
LAMIS facilitates the learning of at least two languages through its inclusion of both English and Myanmar in the established curriculum. Teaching of both languages is tailored to the learning needs of the students; students learn about and through LAMIS’s curricular languages, their Mother tongues and their additional languages.
English is the language of instruction for all classes with the exception of Myanmar classes.
At LAMIS, Myanmar is taught to all students, either as an Additional Language or as a Mother Tongue, according to the need of each student. In Myanmar classes, teachers and students use a combination of English and Myanmar.
In addition, the school facilitates after-school classes for additional languages.LAMISInternational SchoolEducationProgramme
