The Universe Depicted in English and Maths Languages

A deer is drinking water. A tiger is approaching. When a little bird sees that, it signals in a language they all understand. The deer escapes. Its life is saved. (The tiger starves its dinner though. Let it be. That’s not the main point.) The point is, because of a language, a life can be spared. Lives can be saved. (Or a dinner can be missed. Nevertheless, who cares about the starvation of the bad beast that only eats only when other animals’ lives are killed!)
A white man is being chased and shot by a group of bandits of the same race. He escapes by jumping into a running train. After escaping, he falls asleep in a presumably safe place in solitude. When he wakes up, he finds himself being tied. When the native Americans were about to light the campfire-place, he shouts, “Don’t!”, in their ethnic language. They are amazed. While they converse, they become very good friends.
“The limits of my language means the limits of my world,” said Ludwig Wittgenstein, an Austrian-British philosopher who worked primarily in the philosophy of mathematics, the philosophy of mind, and the philosophy of language. In Myanmar, English, which is the international language, and Maths, which is the language that studies the universe, should be carefully and devotedly studied.
The Universe Depicted in English
English is the human language which has penetrated not only all over the Earth planet, but also beyond the Solar System. Astronauts working around in space use English to communicate among human fellows. Lately, even machines are given commands in English. The Internet can be used more widely if an Internet user knows English. Innumerable and valuable books are translated into English. In order to give the worldwide readers an access to the varieties of international knowledgeable and aesthetic literature, they are usually translated into English.
The Universe Depicted in Maths
I do not know about The Entire Universe. However, for the whole of The Observable Universe, Maths is the essential language. If complicated usages such as “amount”, “speed”, “profit” are expressed in colloquial usages such as “large amount”, “fast speed”, “moderate profit”, which are blurry, uncertain, and incomparable expressions. When expressed in the mathematical parts such as “100,000 tons”, “120 miles per hour”, “100,000,000 MMK”, we can express anything in The Observable Universe.
In addition to the mother-tongue, learning a new language can make your brain develop better. Learning Maths can increase your intelligence. More developed brain, increased intelligence, mastering English, the international language, and mastering Maths can cause you to receive more income in the long-term, and also enjoy a longer lifespan.
A Good Environment Matters.
Everybody is influenced by both genetics and environment. In other words, Nature and Nurture. Parent’s genes (DNA, IQ, etc) can be altered by the influence of the environment (food, habit, climate, education, support, etc.). This is a part of Evolution. The point is your perfection (Pāramī) can be nurtured. No matter how your genes are, if you have a good environment and a good habit, you can improve tremendously.
Just like the story of two parakeets. Born from the same parents, one was a peaceful polite erudite, and the other a beast. After a wind-storm, one landed where a hermit lived and became a polite parakeet, and the other reached to some barbarians and adopted barbaric behaviour and speech.
If you reach an environment full of well-mannered, intelligent, talented, masterly, full of loving-kindness and compassion, you’ll become like that too. If you meet good teachers who are excellent in English and Maths, you will become excellent in English and Maths as well. You’ll become smart. It is also important to be polite, timely, able to value and preserve Myanmar cultural heritage in addition to mastering English and Maths.
Myanmar is a country which still needs to learn many things, and also has many things to value and preserve. It needs to be powerful in learning business, medicine, science and technology. To learn those, a good foundation of English and Maths is required. It is also only English which can help the world to know, understand, value and imitate Myanmar cultural heritage. Myanmar traditions and customs, and Myanmar poems, stories, novellas, and novels should be translated into English.
For all of these, the basic solution is learning English and Maths with good teachers in a good environment. Learning English and Maths is loving your future. Learning English and Maths is loving your country. Learning English and Maths is loving your planet Earth. Having successfully learned, may you all embrace healthy happy and successful intellectual lives.
အင်္ဂလိပ်ဘာသာစကား၊ သင်္ချာဘာသာစကားတို့ဖြင့် ဆေးခြယ်ထားသော စကြဝဠာ

သမင်တစ်ကောင်က ရေသောက်နေတယ်။ ကျားတစ်ကောင်က ချဥ်းကပ်လာတယ်။ ငှက်ကလေးတစ်ကောင်က မြင်တဲ့အခါ သူတို့အချင်းချင်းနားလည်တဲ့ ဘာသာစကားနဲ့ အချက်ပေးလိုက်တယ်။ သမင်ကလေးထွက်ပြေးသွားတယ်။ အသက်ချမ်းသာရာရသွားတယ်။ (ကျားကြီးကတော့ ညစာငတ်သွားပြီ။ ထားပါတော့လေ။ အဓိက ပြောချင်တာ ဒါမဟုတ်ပါဘူး။) ဆိုလိုတာက ဘာသာစကားကြောင့် အသက်ချမ်းသာရာရနိုင်တယ်။ သူတစ်ပါးအသက်ကို ကယ်တင်နိုင်တယ်။ (ဒါမှမဟုတ် ညစာလွတ်သွားနိုင်တယ်လေ။ ဒါပေမယ့် သူတစ်ပါးအသက်ကို သတ်မှ ညစာစားတတ်တဲ့ ကောင်ဆိုးကြီးမို့ ငတ်သွားလည်း ဘာဖြစ်လဲနော့်။)
လူဖြူတစ်ယောက်ကို လူမျိုးတူလူဆိုးတစ်သိုက်က သေနတ်တွေ၊ မြင်းတွေနဲ့ လိုက်ပစ်တယ်။ သူက ခုတ်မောင်းနေတဲ့ရထားပေါ်ပုန်းရှောင်ပြေးတက်ပြီး လွတ်မြောက်သွားတယ်။ သူလွတ်သွားပြီး စိတ်ချရတဲ့ နေရာလို့ ယူဆရတဲ့ လူသူကင်းဆိတ်တဲ့နေရာမှာ အိပ်ပျော်သွားတယ်။ နိုးတော့ သူက ကြိုးတုပ်လျက်သား။ အမေရိကန်တိုင်းရင်းသားတွေက သူ့ကို မီးရှို့ဖို့ မီးတိုင်ကို တို့ခါနီး “မလုပ်နဲ့” လို့ သူတို့ရဲ့ တိုင်းရင်းသားဘာသာစကားနဲ့ ပြောလိုက်တယ်။ သူတို့တွေ အံ့သြသွားတယ်။ အဲ့ဒီလူနဲ့ တိုင်းရင်းသားတွေ အပြန်အလှန်စကားပြောကြရင်း အရမ်းခင်တဲ့ မိတ်ဆွေကောင်းတွေဖြစ်သွားကြတယ်။
“ကျွန်တော်တတ်ကျွမ်းတဲ့ ဘာသာစကားရဲ့ အကန့်အသတ်ဟာ ကျွန်တော့်ကမ္ဘာကြီးရဲ့ အကန့်အသတ်တွေပါပဲ” လို့ အောစရီးရန်း-ဗြိတိန်လူမျိုး သင်္ချာ၊ စိတ်နှင့် ဘာသာစကားဆိုင်ရာ အတွေးအခေါ်ပညာရှင် လူးဒ်ဝစ်ဂ် ဝစ်ဂန်စတိုင်းက မိန့်ဆိုဖူးပါတယ်။ မြန်မာနိုင်ငံမှာ မြန်မာဘာသာစကားအပြင် နိုင်ငံတကာဘာသာစကားဖြစ်တဲ့ အင်္ဂလိပ်ဘာသာစကားနဲ့ စကြဝဠာကို လေ့လာတဲ့ ဘာသာစကားဖြစ်တဲ့ သင်္ချာကို သေသေချာချာ လေ့လာသင့်ပါတယ်။
အင်္ဂလိပ်ဘာသာစကားဖြင့် ဆေးခြယ်ထားသော စကြဝဠာ
အင်္ဂလိပ်ဟာ ကမ္ဘာဂြိုလ်ပေါ်မှာသာမက နေအဖွဲ့အစည်းရဲ့ အပြင်ထိအောင် ထိုးဖောက်ထားတဲ့ အဓိကလူသားအချင်းချင်းဆက်သွယ်ရာ ဘာသာစကားဖြစ်တယ်။ အာကာသမှာ သွားလာလှုပ်ရှားနေကြတဲ့ အာကာသယာဥ်မှုးတွေဟာ အင်္ဂလိပ်ဘာသာစကားကို လူသားအချင်းချင်းဆက်သွယ်ရာမှာ သုံးကြတယ်။ နောက်ပိုင်း စက်တွေကိုပါ အင်္ဂလိပ်လို အမိန့်ပေးလာကြပါတယ်။ အင်တာနက်ဟာ အင်္ဂလိပ်ဘာသာတတ်ရင် ပိုမို ကျယ်ပြန့်စွာ အသုံးပြုနိုင်တယ်။ များစွာသော အဖိုးထိုက်တန်တဲ့ စာအုပ်တွေကို အင်္ဂလိပ်ဘာသာနဲ့ ပြန်ဆိုပါတယ်။ နိုင်ငံတကာက သုတ၊ ရသ စာပေအမျိုးမျိုးကို နိုင်ငံတကာက စာဖတ်ပရိသတ်တွေ လက်လှမ်းမီနိုင်ဖို့ အင်္ဂလိပ်ဘာသာပြန်ဆိုလေ့ရှိကြတယ်။
သင်္ချာဘာသာစကားဖြင့် ဆေးခြယ်ထားသော စကြဝဠာ
စကြဝဠာတစ်ခုလုံး (The entire universe) အတွက်တော့ မပြောတတ်ပါချေ။ လေ့လာသိရှိနိုင်တဲ့စကြဝဠာ (The observable universe) တစ်ခွင်လုံးမှာတော့ သင်္ချာဘာသာဟာ အခြေခံမရှိမဖြစ် ဘာသာစကားဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ ရှုပ်ထွေးနက်နဲတဲ့ ပမာဏတွေ၊ အလျင်၊ အမြတ်အစွန်း၊ စတဲ့ အကြောင်းအရာများကို နေ့စဥ်သုံးဘာသာစကားများဖြင့်ပြောဆိုပါက ကြီးမားသောပမာဏ၊ မြန်သောအလျင်၊ သင့်တင့်သောအမြတ်အစွန်း၊ စတဲ့ ဝေဝါးပြီး မတိကျတဲ့၊ နှိုင်းယှဥ်ချိန်တွယ်ရခက်တဲ့ ဖော်ပြချက်တွေသာဖြစ်ပါလိမ့်မယ်။ တန်ချိန် တစ်သိန်း၊ တစ်နာရီ ၁၂၀မိုင်၊ သိန်းတစ်ထောင်ကျပ်၊ စတဲ့ သင်္ချာရဲ့ အစိတ်အပိုင်းလေးများနဲ့ ဖော်ပြတဲ့အခါ ပိုမိုလွယ်ကူစွာ လေ့လာသိရှိနိုင်တဲ့ စကြဝဠာထဲက ဘာအကြောင်းအရာကိုမဆို ဖော်ပြလို့ ရနိုင်ပါတော့တယ်။
မိခင်ဘာသာစကားအပြင် ဘာသာစကားအသစ် သင်ယူခြင်းဟာ သင့်ဦးနှောက်ကို ပိုမိုဖွံ့ဖြိုးစေပါတယ်။ သင်္ချာသင်ယူခြင်းဖြင့်လည်း ဉာဏ်ရည်ပိုမို ထက်မြက်စေပါတယ်။ ပိုမိုထက်မြက်တဲ့ ဦးနှောက်နှင့် ဉာဏ်ရည်အပြင် နိုင်ငံတကာသုံး ဘာသာစကားဖြစ်တဲ့ အင်္ဂလိပ်စာ တတ်မြောက်ခြင်းနှင့် သင်္ချာတတ်မြောက်ခြင်းဆိုတဲ့ အရည်အချင်းတွေဟာ သင့်ကို ရေရှည်မှာ ဝင်ငွေပိုမို ရရှိနိုင်စေသလို အသက်ပိုမို ရှည်စေတယ်လို့လည်း သုတေသနရလဒ်တွေက ဆိုပါတယ်။
ကောင်းမွန်တဲ့ ပတ်ဝန်းကျင်ဟာ အရေးကြီးတယ်။
လူတိုင်းဟာ မျိုးရိုးဗီဇနှင့် ပတ်ဝန်းကျင်ရဲ့ လွှမ်းမိုးမှုကို များစွာခံစားရပါတယ်။ နောက်တစ်မျိုးဆိုရရင် Nature and Nurture လို့ ပြောနိုင်ပါတယ်။ မိဘရဲ့ ဗီဇ(DNA, IQ စသည်)ဟာ ပတ်ဝန်းကျင်ရဲ့ လွှမ်းမိုးမှု (အစားအသောက်၊ အနေအထိုင်၊ ရာသီဥတု၊ ပညာသင်ကြားမှု၊ အားပေးပံ့ပိုးမှု၊ စသည်)တို့ကြောင့်ပင် ပြောင်းလဲသွားနိုင်ပါတယ်။ ဒါဟာ Evolution ရဲ့ အစိတ်အပိုင်းတစ်ခုပါ။ ဆိုလိုတာက သင့်ရဲ့ ပါရမီဟာ ပျိုးထောင်လို့ရတယ်ဆိုတာပါပဲ။ သင့်ရဲ့ ဗီဇဟာ ဘာပဲဖြစ်နေပါစေ၊ ပတ်ဝန်းကျင်ကောင်း၊ အလေ့အကျင့်ကောင်းရှိပါက မြောက်များစွာ တိုးတက်ပြောင်းလဲနိုင်ပါတယ်လေ။
ကျေးနှစ်ကောင်ရဲ့ ပုံပြင်လိုပါပဲ။ မိဘချင်းအတူတူ တစ်ကောင်က စာပေတတ်မြောက် ငြိမ်းချမ်းသိမ်မွေ့ပြီး၊ တစ်ကောင်က စာပေမတတ် ရိုင်းစိုင်းသတဲ့။ လေမုန်တိုင်းအပြီး တစ်ကောင်က ရသေ့ဆီရောက်သွားပြီး ယဥ်ကျေးတဲ့ကျေးလေးဖြစ်သွားကာ၊ အခြားကျေးလေးက လူမိုက်တွေဆီရောက်သွားခဲ့ပြီး ရိုင်းစိုင်းတဲ့အပြုအမူအပြောအဆိုတွေကို သင်ယူရရှိခဲ့မိလို့ပါ။
ကောင်းမွန်ထူးချွန်ထက်မြက်ပြီး မေတ္တာစေတနာပြည့်ဝတဲ့ ပတ်ဝန်းကျင်ကောင်းကို ရောက်သွားရင် သင်လည်း ဒီလိုပဲ ဖြစ်လာပါလိမ့်မယ်။ အင်္ဂလိပ်စာ၊ သင်္ချာတော်တဲ့ ထက်မြက်တဲ့ ဆရာကောင်းတွေနဲ့ တွေ့ရင် သင်လည်း အင်္ဂလိပ်စာ၊ သင်္ချာတော်လာမယ်။ ထက်မြက်လာမယ်။ အင်္ဂလိပ်စာ၊ သင်္ချာကျွမ်းကျင်လာမယ့်အပြင် ယဥ်ကျေးဖို့၊ အချိန်မှန်ဖို့၊ နိုင်ငံတကာပညာရေးကို ရယူစဥ် မြန်မာ့ယဥ်ကျေးမှုအမွေအနှစ်ကို တန်ဖိုးထားတတ်၊ စောင့်ရှောက်တတ်ဖို့ဟာလည်း အရေးကြီးပါတယ်။
မြန်မာနိုင်ငံဟာ သင်ယူစရာတွေ အများကြီးရှိသေးတဲ့ နိုင်ငံဖြစ်သလို တန်ဖိုးထားထိန်းသိမ်းစောင့်ရှောက်စရာ အများကြီးရှိတဲ့ နိုင်ငံဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ စီးပွားရေး၊ ဆေးပညာ၊ သိပ္ပံနဲ့ နည်းပညာမှာ သင်ယူမှု အားကောင်းဖို့ လိုပါတယ်။ သင်ယူဖို့ရာ အင်္ဂလိပ်နဲ့ သင်္ချာ အခြေခံကောင်းကောင်း လိုအပ်ပါတယ်။ မြန်မာ့အမွေအနှစ်များကိုလည်း ကမ္ဘာက သိနားလည်တန်ဖိုးထား အတုယူစေရန် အင်္ဂလိပ်စာနဲ့သာ ကူညီနိုင်မှာဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ မြန်မာတို့ရဲ့ ချစ်စရာ ဓလေ့ထုံးတမ်းစဥ်လာများနဲ့ မြန်မာ့ ကဗျာ၊ ပုံပြင်၊ ဝတ္ထုတို၊ ဝတ္ထုရှည်တို့ကိုလည်း အမြောက်အများ အင်္ဂလိပ်ဘာသာ ပြန်ဆိုအပ်ပါတယ်။
ဒါတွေအားလုံးအတွက် အခြေခံကတော့ အင်္ဂလိပ်နဲ့ သင်္ချာကို ဆရာကောင်း၊ ပတ်ဝန်းကျင်ကောင်းမှာ သင်ယူခြင်းနဲ့ ပြေလည်စေပါတယ်။ အင်္ဂလိပ်နဲ့ သင်္ချာကို သင်ယူခြင်းဟာ သင့်အနာဂတ်ကို ချစ်မြတ်နိုးခြင်းဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ သင့်နိုင်ငံကို ချစ်မြတ်နိုးခြင်းလည်း ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ သင့်ကမ္ဘာမြေကြီးကို ချစ်မြတ်နိုးခြင်းလည်း ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ သင်ယူအောင်မြင်တတ်မြောက်ပြီး ကျန်းမာပျော်ရွှင်အောင်မြင်တဲ့ ပညာရှင်ဘဝကို ပိုင်ဆိုင်နိုင်ကြပါစေ။
